Rudlin Consulting, the European Representative of Japan Intercultural Consulting, has sent an ‘end of year’ newsletter to clients and friends as follows:
Dear Clients and Friends,
It has been a busy eight months since Japan Intercultural Consulting started operations in Europe, and we thought you’d like to hear of how the business has developed in its first year.
Training in the UK
Pernille Rudlin, the European Representative for Japan Intercultural Consulting, has been conducting in-house ‘Working Effectively with Japanese Colleagues’ seminars for the staff at a number of Japanese companies in the technology and pharmaceuticals sectors in London, Manchester and across the South East. She has also been giving training to Japanese expatriate managers in areas such as presentation skills coaching.
Open Enrolment Seminars
As well as in-house training, Japan Intercultural Consulting held two open enrolment seminars in London, in June and October. These were well attended by very diverse groups of people from blue chip Japanese companies and a UK government agency, and many of the participants decided to have the same course taught in-house at their firms. We plan to hold our next open enrolment seminar in the spring of next year.
Training in Europe
We intended to be pan-European from the start of operations and this side of the business has developed much more quickly and to a greater range of countries than we had anticipated. In addition to Virginia Kouyoumdjian in France we now have Chie Misumi and Gerald Smith in the Netherlands, Juan Luís González Andersson and Morella Vásquez Solórzano in Spain, Panna Zsigmondi in Hungary and Sarah van Camp in Belgium. They have been conducting seminars and orientation programmes for Japanese and European staff in several automotive related Japanese companies.
We very much appreciate everyone’s support and enthusiasm for our work in our first year and look forward to serving you in 2005.
Sincerely,
Pernille Rudlin
